OBAIR Strengthens Its Central Asian Presence at Aqua-Therm Almaty 2026

OBAIR showcased its latest HVAC products and solutions at Aqua-Therm Almaty 2026, held from September 2–4 at the Atakent International Exhibition Centre in Almaty, Kazakhstan. At Pavilion 11, Booth E5, the company welcomed engineers, contractors, system integrators and distributors from Kazakhstan and neighboring markets.

Held alongside KazBuild, the exhibition connected professionals across the HVAC and construction industries. Kazakhstan’s substantial seasonal temperature differences create demanding heating and cooling requirements, making the event a valuable platform for discussing energy efficiency, equipment performance and regional cooperation.

Flooded Water-Cooled Screw Chillers

Featuring internationally recognized twin-screw compressors selected for flooded-system applications, OBAIR’s chillers offer a COP of up to 6.35, depending on the model and operating conditions. The range provides energy-efficient cooling for large industrial and commercial projects.

Air-Cooled Modular Chillers and Heat Pumps

These units combine internationally recognized compressors, electronic expansion valves, efficient heat exchangers and PLC controls. Their modular configuration supports summer cooling and winter heating, with model selection tailored to local operating conditions.

Modular Air Handling Units

OBAIR’s AHUs deliver temperature, humidity and air-cleanliness control across diverse applications. The range is supported by EN 1886 performance testing and relevant CRAA, CE, AHRI, TÜV SÜD, UL and CQC certification or conformity documentation, subject to the applicable certification scope.

Air Conditioning Units for Large Spaces

An interlocking, frameless casing combines filtration, heat exchange and long-throw air distribution. Jet outlets deliver conditioned air without extensive ductwork, while direct-expansion and chilled-water configurations offer flexibility for different projects.

Fan Coil Units

Four-way cassette, exposed and horizontal concealed models provide flexible installation, quiet operation and convenient control for commercial and residential buildings.

Controllers and digital 3D product models complemented the equipment displays, allowing visitors to explore system configurations and technical features.

Throughout the exhibition, OBAIR’s team discussed product performance, energy efficiency, application requirements and lifecycle operating costs with visitors.

Flooded water-cooled screw chillers, modular chillers and heat pumps, and AHUs attracted particular interest. Local contractors and buyers also explored certification requirements, technical support and potential cooperation.

Discussions on demanding-climate applications and energy-saving retrofit projects helped identify regional needs and establish a foundation for continued technical exchanges and business development.

Expanding International Presence and Local Support

Central Asia remains an important part of OBAIR’s international growth strategy. Since establishing its international trade department and a partnership in Kazakhstan in 2024, the company has continued developing regional sales and service capabilities.
