OBAIR Fluorine Pump Precision Air Conditioning: Energy-Efficient Cooling for Data Centers in the Dual-Carbon Era
With the rapid growth of AI computing and the expansion of data center infrastructure, cooling energy consumption has become a major concern. Fluorine pump precision air conditioning offers an effective way to reduce cooling energy use by utilizing natural cooling when outdoor temperatures are low.
OBAIR has developed a full range of fluorine pump precision air conditioning solutions for different data center applications, covering room-level, row-level, and small-scale scenarios.
Dual-Cycle Technology for Higher Efficiency
OBAIR fluorine pump air conditioners integrate compressor refrigeration and fluorine pump natural cooling into one system. When the outdoor temperature falls below the set point, the system automatically switches to fluorine pump mode. The compressor stops or operates at very low load, while the fluorine pump circulates refrigerant to make use of outdoor natural cooling.

This significantly reduces compressor operating time and improves overall energy efficiency.
Three Product Solutions for Different Data Center Scenarios

Room-Level Fluorine Pump Precision Air Conditioner
Cooling capacity: 13–120 kW
Suitable for traditional data centers, medium and large cloud computing centers, and financial or government data centers. It requires minimal changes to the existing room layout and is suitable for cabinet heat densities below 8 kW.

Row-Level Fluorine Pump Precision Air Conditioner
Cooling capacity: 12.5–65 kW
Designed for high-density data centers, modular data centers, cloud computing centers, and supercomputing facilities. Close-coupled cooling improves cooling accuracy and space utilization.

Small Fluorine Pump Precision Air Conditioner
Cooling capacity: 13–20 kW
Ideal for edge computing nodes, telecom base stations, branch server rooms, and unattended equipment rooms. It features compact design, flexible installation, and easy maintenance.
Flexible Airflow Solutions

OBAIR provides multiple airflow configurations, including:
- Room-level units with raised-floor supply and contained cold aisles
- Room-level units with overhead supply
- Row-level units with contained cold aisles
- Small units with downflow air supply
These configurations allow the system to adapt to different room layouts and cooling requirements.
Greater Energy Efficiency and Lower Operating Costs
By maximizing the use of natural cooling, OBAIR fluorine pump precision air conditioning can significantly reduce compressor operation, lower cooling power consumption, and improve data center PUE.
The solution is especially effective in regions with long periods of low outdoor temperature, helping customers reduce electricity costs and shorten the return-on-investment period.
OBAIR continues to provide efficient, intelligent, and reliable cooling solutions for modern data centers, supporting greener and more sustainable digital infrastructure.
